Welcome to the Students for International Public Service (SIPS) Page at DePaul University! This site is intended for students who are interested in the issues of the world and want a place to discuss this beyond their time in the classroom. This is also the place to stay connected with your fellow students and keep current of the events sponsored by DePaul and other organizations. Although under the umbrella of the Master’s of Public Service Management program, this site is open to all those who are interested by registering at the main page of the MPS page or by Registering Here. What will you find in these pages? Similar to how things are posted in the Blackboard system, this is the place to continue those discussions that pique your interest in class, or the place to bring up issues not covered. This board is entirely student driven, and student moderated, so it will be yours to transform and adjust as you see fit. Click here to enter the discussion board or on the header above. Besides the job list already emailed via Dr. Dean Eitel (which I highly recommend signing up for, available at the main MPS website under the Current Students header), this is the place to forward those jobs or internships opportunities that might be of interest to your fellow students. Please feel free to submit events not connected to DePaul but of international focus. As shown on the MPS website, there will be a scrolling current event list. Again this is entirely student driven, so please submit your suggestions and accompanying information on the book (i.e. your personal synopsis of book, and/or a professional synopsis taken from elsewhere, where to buy the book, etc.).
