We offer the M.S. in Public Service Management online- another
example of the ways the School continuously innovates to keep our
curriculum relevant and our programs accessible. Online students
participate fully in the programs, taking the same courses, from the
same faculty. The online version of the M.S. Public Service
Management is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
The School of Public Service Online program (SPS
Online) offers the M.S. in Public Service Management in a completely
online format. The online degree uses the same curriculum and
faculty as the face-to-face version. Faculty use an innovative mix
of asynchronous learning (discussion boards in the Blackboard course
management system) with faculty-directed synchronous learning (Wimba
Live Classroom technology). he online degree is a cohort-based
program beginning each fall with online courses offered so that
students can complete the degree in two years without interruption.
To complete it on time, students enroll for 2 online courses per
term (8 quarter hours) as a full-time graduate student. If you wish
to take the degree part-time you may do so with permission of the
Director. SPS Online students are also eligible at any time to
enroll in SPS courses offered in Chicago, Washington D.C., New
Orleans, and in eight countries abroad (Belgium, China, Croatia,
India, Ireland, Italy, Kenya, Mexico, and the Philippines)
The application deadline for admission in the fall
term is June 1; we announce admission decisions by June 8th. Because
we expect the program to fill, early applications will receive early
consideration.
Please fill out the DePaul University
online graduate application and indicate
