The MPS Graduate Program welcomes international students from all over the world. If your last degree was completed outside the United States, specific procedures apply.

Document Evaluations:

We accept academic credential evaluations from:

Document Evaluations by DePaul:

The DePaul International Admissions office can conduct a full verification and evaluation of your credentials, free of charge. These evaluations may take up to four weeks to complete, so please plan accordingly and well in advance of your intended start term.

Please note:

  • You must submit official records (which may be returned after the evaluation is completed) or official University attested photocopies of academic records. As a policy, DePaul University requires that international records be officially issued and attested by the University Registrar or Controller of Exams office.

  • Academic records may not be faxed or emailed for admission consideration.

  • Documents should be submitted in their native language accompanied by English translations (when applicable).

India and Pakistan

  • Individual mark sheets, issued and stamped by the University (not affiliate college) registrar or controller of exams.

  • Degree certificates, issued and stamped by the University (not affiliate college) registrar or controller of exams.

  • All stamped attestations and signatures must be original (not photocopies).

  • Principal, dean, notary, secretary, program director and similar attestations are not accepted.

China

  • Official transcripts in Chinese and English, sent by the University.

  • Diplomas in Chinese and English, sent by the University.

  • Degree certificates in Chinese and English, sent by the University.

Thailand

  • Official transcripts in English issued by the University, sent to us directly.


TOEFL Requirements:

An official TOEFL score is required for those who have completed their last degree outside of the US. A minimum TOEFL score of 590 (paper exam) or 243 (computer exam) and an extended writing sample in English are needed for admission

Those who do not meet the minimum score, yet show promise, may be eligible for admission into the DePaul English Language Academy. A TOEFL score report is first required.

TOEFL Waiver:

The TOEFL requirement can be waived for those who have worked in the US for two years or more or can provide a letter from the employer stating the duration of their employment and their proficiency in English.

There is a $40 non-refundable application fee. Checks should be made payable to DePaul University and mailed to the address above.
