Students pay standard tuition as well as a program fee that covers room, board, coffee breaks, international ID card and other incidentals. The University charges fees directly to student account. We estimate program fees to range from $500-$1000, depending on site. The School of Public Service awards study abroad scholarships. The Public Services Study Abroad scholarship takes the form of a partial tuition waiver.

The Vincent DePaul Ministry of Service Scholarship is available to those who work for religious organizations of any kind. The scholarship is sponsored by the Congregation of the Mission—the priests and brothers who sponsor DePaul University.

Students make their own travel arrangements. A passport, valid six months beyond the conclusion of the trip, is required. Participants withdrawing from the trip are accountable for all funds remitted on their behalf. We encourage students to purchase travel insurance when making travel arrangements.

“The diversity of studying abroad really helps put a perspective on the issues we address in the program. I have friends in nine countries now. I highly recommend international study.” - Missy McMaster-Wall (Study Abroad Student).
